Meeting Points & Landing Fields
Brevent (Planpraz) flights.
The meeting point is at the bottom of the mountain by the blue meeting point sign in front of the ticket desks.

Access: Approx 10 minutes walk uphill from the Tourist Office of Chamonix.
Car Parking: There is convenient parking in the Parking du Brevent a little above the ticket desks.
Warning: If asking for directions , ask for le Brevent. (Do not ask for Planpraz).

Plan de l’Aiguille & Aiguille du Midi flights
The meeting point is in front of the big Aiguille du Midi sign to the left of the ticket desks.

Access
Maximum ten minutes easy walk from any part of central Chamonix.
Bus: Free shuttle bus service (“le Mulet”) runs every 20 minutes in the town centre.
Ask for the Aiguille du Midi stop.
Car Parking
There is limited free parking in front of the Hotel des Aiglons .
There is inexpensive and more convenient parking in the Parking du Grepon .
This car park is clearly signposted at the roundabout as you arrive in Chamonix, just off the “Route Blanche”.

Landing Fields:
Generally we land at Clos du Savoy for 8h,9h,10h flights and Bois du Bouchet for 11h or later flights and all flights from Plan de l’Aiguille & Aiguille du Midi.
The pilot will advise which landing field depending upon weather conditions.

Whilst it is sometimes possible for spectators to watch the take off from Planpraz, then hurry down to see the landing it really is a rush to try and see both take off and landing.

Bois du Bouchet, Chemin des Gourgnes, Chamonix. Lat: 45°55’45.87″N Long: 6°52’38.51″E
This can be accessed on foot (ax 15 minutes walk from Brevent ).
Spectators will not have sufficient time to come up to the take off and then go back down the lift & travel to the Bois du Bouchet to watch the landing.
